Texas Sky, a member of the Regional Sky family, is now returning service to Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) based on our customer demand. Effective May 1, 2017, Texas Sky will begin new non-stop service from both Victoria, TX (VCT) and Del Rio, (DRT). Our service to Austin, Texas (AUS) and Houston, TX (IAH) will discontinue on April 28th, 2017.
We are happy to be offering flights to Del Rio now, since there has been no public air service since April 2013. Del Rio is a gem to Texas. With the third largest lake in Texas, it is considered an oasis for all. From steak houses to family dining, Del Rio is a place for everyone. By car DFW to Del Rio would be about a 6 hour trip. Texas Sky will be offering this flight for a very reasonable $200 one way or $400 round trip non-stop, which will take roughly an hour and forty minutes.
Texas Sky’s flights to Victoria are definitely worth noting. As one of the oldest cities in Texas founded in 1824, it offers many opportunities for its residents and visitors. Whether it’s their arts and festivals or their nature and water recreation, there’s something for everyone.
Jim Gallagher owner of Texas Sky says, “We are happy to bring service to Del Rio, and back to DFW as we believe this will truly serve our passengers and Texas better. By making DFW more accessible to Victoria and Del Rio, we make it easier for conscientious travelers to bundle our flights with another flight out of DFW an international airport to go anywhere in the world quickly and efficiently!”
